Meet Tiffany Brinkert, Deposit Operations Officer for Kalamazoo County State Bank (KCSB).

This year marks my 24th year with KCSB. I started in March 1997 as a New Accounts Rep/Receptionist at the Schoolcraft office, opening new deposit accounts, and answering the phones. In 2000, I transferred to the Vicksburg Branch as the New Account Rep and Back Up Teller. During the 13 years I worked in Vicksburg, I became the Assistant Branch Manager and then Branch Manager, where I was the branch’s lender and back up for all other functions performed in the branch.
In 2013, I transferred back to the Schoolcraft Office as the Main Branch Officer, overseeing the New Accounts, Teller staff and IRA Administrator. In 2017 I spent 10 months working in our Mattawan Branch helping to train new staff, open new accounts, work on the teller line and provide any support needed for our staff and customers.
In 2018, I came back to the Schoolcraft Office and was appointed the Deposit Operations Officer, where I help to oversee the day-to-day operations of the deposit area of the Bank, including staff training, reviewing for accuracy in account documentation and computer transactions, IRA Administration and assisting customers in person or by phone regarding questions and problems related to our Deposit products and services.
I think we have the best customers and staff, which is my favorite part of working at KCSB. Working in the same community that I live in was one of the reasons I applied to KCSB when I found out there was an opening here.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, volunteering at our church and in the community and I love to dance!
My many hobbies include all types of crafting, including cross-stitching, stamping, and designing and making a new Christmas ornament every year for family and friends. I also enjoy reading on my Kindle, working in the yard and photography just for fun!

- Favorite Food: Most things that I shouldn’t be eating!! 😊
- Favorite Season(s): To be honest, I don’t really have a favorite season, but the season I like the least is the Summer! I don’t really care for the heat!
- Playlist: Favorite is country music, but I like any music that makes me dance!
- My role model: Was my Grandma Shell. She lived to be 99 and she was the strongest women I’ve ever known. Her faith and love got her through everything life put in her path.
- Favorite TV Shows: The Voice and The Masked Singer
- My Family: Married to my husband, Mark, for 26 years. We have one son, Timothy, who is 24 and our dog, Bentley, who is a 15-year-old Pomeranian-Chihuahua mix.
