Meet Makenzie (Kenzie) Cail, newly appointed Branch Manager for the Kalamazoo County State Bank Vicksburg Branch Office. When a kind and considerate person with customer service expertise, and the knowledge to find financial solutions for her customers becomes a Branch Manager, it’s a win-win situation for everyone involved especially the customers of KCSB!
Kenzie joined KCSB in February of 2017 as a Part-Time Teller while still in school. Later that year, she began her full-time career with KCSB as a Personal Banker.
“I began part time as a Teller while continuing my schooling,” said Kenzie. “I then decided on September 5, 2017, that I wanted to continue my journey at KCSB and began full-time employment as a Personal Banker. I look forward to taking on the position as the Vicksburg Branch Manager. I thoroughly enjoy assisting our customers with all their financial needs.”
Kenzie explains it’s the people that helped her see a clear career path with KCSB. “I love seeing people smile, hearing about life experiences and all the family adventures that people take. Most of all it’s the relationships that I’ve built with my customers that makes my work at the Bank so meaningful.”
A confirmed life-long learner, Kenzie sees the Bank as a place she can continue to learn every day. “I chose to work at KCSB because I wanted to take on the challenge of learning something new. I saw the opportunity to grow, and I took it! I continue to challenge myself in the exciting world of banking and helping people meet their financial needs. Everyone has similar needs, and yet everyone is unique with their own life experiences, as well.”
When not in the office, Kenzie enjoys spending time with her fiancé, their 2 cats and dog. Together they enjoy spending time with family and friends.
