Kenzie is the Branch Officer of the Vicksburg office and was nominated by Bank employees to receive this honor. Here are some of the employee comments:
- I nominate Kenzie because she tries to improve things. I think she has a better grasp of things that need to be done to improve our jobs and the bank in general. The customers love her, and she’s just a good person.
- Kenzie goes above and beyond for the bank and for all of our customers. She often works through her lunch break to make sure things get done and is always willing to put her own needs on the back burner to provide the utmost best customer service that she can.
- Kenzie is the perfect person for this award. She is kind, hard-working, dependable, intelligent, and a great role model for other employees. She consistently supports her employees and promotes the bank. She volunteers in the bank community and genuinely cares about her customers. She has taken on additional work above and beyond her branch officer duties and is the kind of employee we should all strive to be
Kenzie joined KCSB in 2017 as a Teller in the Schoolcraft office. In 2018, she became a Personal Banker in the Mattawan office where her skill for understanding her customers’ needs along with the services available to help fulfill those needs quickly became apparent. Kenzie moved into Branch Manager Trainee in Vicksburg in 2022 and Branch Officer in 2023. She was also awarded Employee of the Year in 2018.
Kenzie graduated from Schoolcraft High School and attended Kalamazoo Valley Community College (KVCC) for general studies. She generously participates in community activities such as making quilts for those in need and assisting with the Mattawan Food Pantry.
“Kenzie consistently goes above and beyond her duties,” said Hines. “She is a role model for all other staff regarding her willingness to learn, teach and take on additional responsibilities, all with an amazing positive attitude. She has become a great resource for her co-workers and our customers. Kenzie is very deserving of this award.”
