Meet Cliff Hartzell, a Personal Banker at Kalamazoo County State Bank’s (KCSB) Schoolcraft Branch Office. Cliff joined KCSB as a Teller in 2021. With a mind for economics, Cliff was a natural to move into his current role and truly appreciates working with his banking customers.
“I enjoy engaging our customers by listening to them and providing as much information as possible regarding their accounts,” said Cliff. “I also want to make sure they understand the benefits of the other products KCSB offers. I particularly appreciate interacting with my customers who stop in on a regular basis. It’s been rewarding building relationships with them.”
Cliff went on to explain, “I decided to work at KCSB as a change of pace compared to my previous employment. Specifically, studying economics at university provided an excellent background to apply at the Bank and assist my customers.”
When not in the office, you’ll likely find Cliff on the golf course weather permitting. “I play golf as much as possible to be active and healthy. It enables me to stay competitive with friends and acquaintances as well as destress from anything that might be bothering me. Additionally, I enjoy keeping up with business news such as current trends and business startups in the local communities.”
