Jerry and Janet were nominated by KCSB’s Executive Officers. As a community bank, the Officers look at the “big picture” of community service and volunteerism, not just Bank sponsored non-profit work. Jerry was nominated for his consistent volunteerism in our communities while Janet was nominated as an up-and-coming volunteer.
Jerry joined the KCSB commercial lending team as Assistant Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer in 2019. His banking career began in 1995 at a regional bank in Kalamazoo where he moved through the organization as a Commercial Lender, Assistant Vice President in Retirement Plan Services to his last position as Senior Business Banking Officer where he oversaw and developed relationships with small business bank clients. Jerry has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo.

Janet joined KCSB in 2021 as an Operations Clerk in the Schoolcraft office. In January 2024, she became a Personal Banker in the Vicksburg office and was promoted to Assistant Branch Manager of the Vicksburg office in 2025. Janet began her banking career at KCSB after going through some major life changes. As a previous small business owner, she excels at customer service and giving back to her community. Now as a community banker, Janet is the up-and-coming community volunteer.
