Meet Julia Rozeboom as she celebrates her 25th Anniversary with KCSB. Since joining KCSB 25 years ago, Julia has seen many changes at the Bank.
“I started my career at KCSB in September 1998 as the Statement Clerk,” said Julia. “When statements were no longer printed and mailed by KCSB in March 2005, my job changed to Operations Clerk. Today, my job entails helping our customers with any questions and concerns they might have about their accounts. Many customers have questions about using our debit cards, online banking, and mobile deposit. I also help customers make their loan payments from another financial institution. We are particularly excited to see how our customers like our new Relationship Rewards Checking accounts that offers rewards for the relationships they build with KCSB.”
As KCSB celebrates its 115th Anniversary as the local community bank, Julia says the most significant change she has experienced in her 25 years with the Bank has been in technology. “Checks clear electronically now, and customers can conduct most all their banking online, including depositing their checks with our Mobile App. KCSB did not have Online Banking when I started in 1998. A lot has changed, yet we still offer personal service whenever our customers prefer or have a need to work with us directly.”
Charitable and community involvement have always been important to Julia. She has participated in many fundraising drives at the Bank, and participates in the drives held at her church. She is also a volunteer in the nursery at her church.
Julia has had the good fortune of working part time at KCSB for the last 25 years. At the end of this year, Julia will retire from KCSB. “Each of us does our best to help every customer with whatever they need,” said Julia. “I feel good retiring knowing we all feel the same about helping our customers.”
