45th Anniversary at Kalamazoo County State Bank
LET IT BE KNOWN that it is with great pride and admiration that we join in recognizing Mrs. Schelle McMillan for her forty-five years of dedication to the Kalamazoo County State Bank and for her outstanding contributions to the greater South County community. Her career reflects a lifetime of hard work, loyalty, and commitment to both her profession and the people she serves.
Schelle first joined Kalamazoo County State Bank (KCSB) while still in high school, beginning a remarkable journey that would see her take part in both the Bank’s 75th and 100th anniversary celebrations. As KCSB now approaches its 125th anniversary, it is only fitting that we pause to honor Schelle’s own extraordinary milestone. Serving in many roles such as Assistant Vice President, Controller, and Cashier, she has been a pillar of reliability and professionalism, representing the values that have long defined this trusted community institution.
Throughout her career, Schelle has continually advanced her knowledge and expertise, earning an associate degree from Kalamazoo Calley Community College and completing numerous professional banking certifications. Her education, combined with her strong work ethic and positive spirit, has aided her in forging an exceptional career in the banking industry. The enduring partnership between KCSB and Schelle stands as a testament to the power of integrity, perseverance, and genuine service.
Beyond her professional achievements, Mrs. McMillan’s deep sense of community has touched countless lives. She has generously volunteered her many hours of her time and talents to organizations such as South County Community Services, the SPCA, the Gospel Mission, Eagles Nest, the Salvation Army, and Relay for Life, among many others. Her kindness and compassion extend far beyond her role at the bank and is visible as she approaches every customer as a friend and every neighbor as family. Her dedication reflects the very best of what it means to live and serve in both Schoolcraft and the South County area.
IN SPECIAL TRIBUTE, Therefore, this document is signed and dedicated to honor Mrs. Schelle McMillan for her forty-five years of service to the Kalamazoo County State Bank, and for her unwavering devotion to the people and community she has so faithfully served. We extend our heartfelt congratulations and best wishes for continued success, happiness, and fulfillment in the years ahead.
