Meet Susan Vincent, KCSB’s newest Loan Clerk. She joined the Bank this spring with vast experience in raising a family, furniture leasing, administration and providing financial assistance. Her current position is Loan Clerk.

“Early in my professional career I managed a furniture leasing office,” said Susan. “When we started a family, I stayed home with our children. Upon return to the workforce the next 24 years were spent in church administration. Before coming to KCSB, I provided financial assistance in the construction industry.”

As a Loan Clerk, Susan provides administrative support to the KCSB lenders in preparing and processing loan documents for customers and the Bank’s records. She has recently started cross-training as a Teller to be able to assist when and where a need arises.

Susan explains, “I like that my current position is administrative work and supporting others. There is a common goal for employees at KCSB to serve our customers and it extends to serving the community which KCSB does in a big way. I have been a customer of the bank since starting a Christmas Club account as a teenager, so I have been a recipient of the great customer service and seen their involvement in our community firsthand.”

A native to the community, Susan has many friends and a relative working at KCSB. “There were always many friendly faces and conversations to be had when I came in as a customer. That same experience has become evident in my workday with old and new friends who are now my co-workers.”

When asked why did you choose to work at KCSB? Susan said, “It’s simple: the work I love with people I love in the community I love (my hometown since birth)! I look forward to joining in community functions as our team continues to serve inside and outside the bank. And it’s great that I live close enough that I can walk or ride my bike to work.”

Outside the office, Susan is an active member of her church. “I enjoy attending Bible study, teaching Sunday school, and assisting with audio/visual aspects of our worship services.
